Nora Ni Loideain

Editor In Chief at Oxford University Press

Nora Ni Loideain currently serves as Joint Editor-in-Chief of the International Data Privacy Law journal at Oxford University Press and holds the position of Director and Senior Lecturer at the Information Law and Policy Centre, School of Advanced Study, University of London. Additionally, Nora is a consultant for the UK Home Office Biometrics and Forensics Ethics Group, a board member at the British and Irish Legal Information Institute, and an Associate Fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, University of Cambridge. Nora's expertise extends to research on privacy rights in South Africa and law consultations at the Alan Turing Institute. Previously, Nora held various academic roles, including Visiting Lecturer at The Dickson Poon School of Law and Affiliated Lecturer at the University of Cambridge, focusing on EU Data Protection Law and EU Human Rights Law. Nora earned a PhD in Law from the University of Cambridge and an LL.M. in Public Law from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
