Amir Hemed

Amir Hemed is an experienced software engineering professional with a strong background in both leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Pagaya since November 2018, Amir has progressed through various positions, including Software Engineering Group Lead and Team Lead. Prior experience includes a brief role as a Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University, and a Software Engineer position at Wemark. Amir co-founded CloudOptimize and gained significant experience in the Israel Defense Forces, holding roles such as Software Engineer, QA Team Leader, Senior QA Engineer, and QA Engineer. Amir holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University, obtained between 2015 and 2019.
