Zachary Beier

Zachary Beier is a Senior Archaeologist, Principal Investigator, and Project Manager at Chronicle Heritage, focusing on managing and developing cultural resource management projects in the Caribbean since January 2024. Prior to this, Zachary served as a Senior Archaeologist at SEARCH, leading archaeological surveys and report production from June 2022 to January 2024. Zachary's academic experience includes a role as a Lecturer and Director of the Archaeology Laboratory at The University of the West Indies, Mona, from May 2017 to July 2022, and an earlier position as an Assistant Lecturer at the same institution. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Anthropology/Historical Archaeology from Syracuse University and a BA in Anthropology from Illinois State University. Notable research includes a Fulbright Fellowship project on heritage management at Cabrits National Park, which informed Zachary's dissertation.
