Michael Davidson has extensive experience in the field of laboratory information systems and application architecture. Currently serving as a Laboratory Information Systems Administrator at Opentrons since August 2022, Michael previously held the position of Team Lead/Application Architect at S&P Consultants from 2007 to September 2022. Prior roles include Lead Application Analyst at Adventist Health from 2005 to 2007 and Customer Service Representative at SCC Soft Computer from 2002 to 2005. Michael's educational background includes a degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Certificate in Full Stack Web Development from freeCodeCamp, completed between 2019 and 2021.

Pandemic Response Lab (PRL) provides high-volume, low-cost COVID-19 testing, variant detection, sequencing, pooling, population testing, and PCR-based respiratory panels to communities across the U.S. PRL is led by a team of experts in genetics, clinical diagnostics, and robotics. Our state-of-the-art labs use knowledge and technology licensed from NYU Langone based on research led by world-class geneticist Dr. Jef Boeke. PRL is a subsidiary of Opentrons Labworks Inc., a leading diagnostic life sciences company based in NY. Since its founding in early 2020, PRL has opened 3 locations in Long Island City, NY; Rockville, MD; and Irvine, CA, with plans for expansion in the near future. PRL is leveraging innovation in science and robotics to address a provider, payer and patient care system challenged for years in lowering costs and providing optimal patient care.
