Renee Powers

Renee Powers is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Operations at PangoBooks since September 2023 and a Board Member at Her Voice Productions since July 2023. Additionally, Renee is the Podcast Producer and Founder and Executive Director of the Feminist Book Club, a worker-owned media platform that seeks to educate and mobilize around intersectional issues through literature. Renee was a Fellow at the Tory Burch Foundation from March 2021 to March 2022. Academically, Renee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from Saint Mary's College, a Master of Arts in Communication and Gender Studies from Northern Illinois University, and is a PhD candidate in Communication and Media Studies at the University of Illinois Chicago.
