Addison Thompson

Addison Thompson is a co-owner of The Letter Market, responsible for developing operational initiatives, managing website design, and overseeing social media and marketing efforts since June 2017. Additionally, Addison serves as a student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds the position of Vice President of Risk Management on the Panhellenic Council, promoting safety policies for over 2,000 students. Previous experience includes a legislative internship with Senator Scott Bennett, where Addison contributed to research and community recognition initiatives, as well as roles in public relations and campaign support. Addison earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Economics and Psychology, complemented by a minor in Business from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Panhellenic Council at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

The Panhellenic Council is the student-run government body of the Sorority community. In joining a sorority, a woman becomes a member, not only of her respective sorority, but also of the sorority community, which encompasses twenty three chapters and over 3,000 members. The chapters that are actively part of the community are 4-H House Cooperative Sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Epsilon Phi, Alpha Omega Epsilon, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi, Alpha Xi Delta, Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma, Delta Zeta, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Phi Mu, Phi Sigma Rho, Phi Sigma Sigma, Pi Beta Phi, Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority, and Sigma Delta Tau. As members of fraternities and sororities at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, we are committed to ensuring our success as students and invested partners in our organizations through celebrating friendship, leadership, scholarship, service, and social advancement while appreciating the diversity of our member organizations.
