Julia McClure Sterner

Julia McClure Sterner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Julia currently works at ParkMobile, LLC, where they started as an Associate Program Director in April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Project Manager from March 2021 to May 2023, and Project Manager from July 2019 to March 2021.

Before joining ParkMobile, Julia worked as a Traffic Manager and Digital Project Manager (Contract) at The Home Depot from August 2017 to August 2018. In this role, they oversaw a team of 17 designers and led a team of 6 designers as a project manager. Julia also improved the onboarding process for new users and created project templates to enhance timeline accuracy, reporting, and capacity forecasting.

Julia previously worked at UPS as a Mobile User Experience Project Lead on a one-year contract from October 2016 to August 2017. Julia focused on improving the mobile experience for customers, addressing communication gaps, and facilitating decision-making based on customer feedback and data.

Julia has experience in agency settings as well. At Nebo Agency, Julia served as an Interactive Project Manager from May 2015 to September 2016, overseeing the successful delivery of various interactive projects.

Julia also gained valuable experience in public relations and account management roles. Julia worked at Envision Communications as an Account Executive from January 2015 to May 2015, and as an Associate Account Executive from July 2014 to January 2015. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Coordinator at Envision Communications from September 2012 to July 2014. In addition, they had internships at the William Mills Agency and the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, where they gained experience in public relations and communications.

Early in their career, Julia held positions as an Account Manager at Public Relations Campaigns and as an Account Executive at Alpha PRoductions. Julia also served as the PRSSA 2011 National Conference Director of Records for the Public Relations Student Society of America.

Julia McClure Sterner pursued their undergraduate studies from 2008 to 2012 at the University of Florida. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. Alongside their primary field of study, Julia also pursued outside concentrations in Business Administration and Psychology.

In terms of additional certifications, Julia Sterner obtained the certification of Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in May 2022. Julia also holds the certification of AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, which was acquired from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2019.
