Matt Mitchell

Matt Mitchell serves as the Head Music Editor at Paste Magazine since June 2021, also fulfilling roles as a Freelance Writer and Assistant Music Editor during that time. Previously, Matt contributed as a Freelance Writer for Pitchfork from June 2021 to April 2023 and Static Media from July 2022 to March 2023. Experience also includes freelance writing for Bandcamp, an All-Star position at HOMAGE, and a brief role as a Book Seller at Capital University. Prior to these positions, Matt worked as a Social Media Content and Marketing Manager at Relax, It’s Just Coffee and completed an Editorial Internship at Cleveland Magazine. Educational background includes a degree from Hiram College, obtained between 2016 and 2020.
