Henk Blom has a diverse and extensive work experience. Henk started their career at Baxter Healthcare, where they held various roles including Senior Manager, Manager II, Engineering, Research Scientist, and Technical Fellow/Sr. Research Associate. At Baxter Healthcare, they directed teams, provided technical leadership, and contributed to product development and manufacturing support. Henk also worked at Rollprint Packaging Products as Vice President of Research and Technology and Director of Technical Services. Additionally, they served as VP of Research and Technology at PAXXUS and Chair of the Technical Committee at Sterilization Packaging Manufacturers Council. Henk Blom was also involved in various board memberships at the Society of Plastics Engineers.
Henk Blom obtained their Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Prior to their doctoral studies, they completed an M.Sc. in Chemistry at the same institution from 1990 to 1992. Henk Blom's undergraduate degree is a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Simon Fraser University, which they received between 1985 and 1990. Additionally, in April 2017, they obtained a certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt from SixSigma.us.
