Alfred Giles, CFA has a diverse range of work experience. Alfred began their career as an army captain in the U.S. Army from June 2001 to March 2005. Following this, they worked as a project manager at M.C. Dean Inc. from March 2005 to May 2007. Alfred then transitioned into the finance industry, starting at Credit Suisse as a financial sponsors/leveraged finance investment banking associate from July 2009 to May 2011. Alfred then moved to UBS Investment Bank as a credit desk analyst from May 2011 to April 2013. Most recently, they served as the head of corporate research at Payden & Rygel since April 2013.

Alfred Giles, CFA, holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, which they attained from 2007 to 2009. Alfred also obtained a B.S. degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, Giles achieved the CFA certification from the CFA Institute in 2013.
