Andrew Harmon has a diverse work experience in the game industry spanning over two decades. Andrew is currently working as the Principal Game Designer at Payload Studios. Prior to this, they were a Design Consultant at Wooga from 2019 to 2021. In 2019, they also served as a Senior Game Designer at Klang Games. From 2015 to 2019, Andrew held the position of Lead Designer for Pearl's Peril at Wooga GmbH. Before that, they worked as a Senior Systems Designer at Xaviant from 2014 to 2015. From 2010 to 2014, Andrew worked at CCP as a Senior Game Designer, where they focused on combat gameplay, political social systems, artificial intelligence, and crafting/economics in World of Darkness. Andrew also worked on the new player experience and avatar-based tutorial for Eve Online. Andrew's career in game design started in 2007 at Hi-Rez Studios, where they worked as a Designer on Global Agenda, specializing in game systems and resource pipeline integration. Andrew also has experience as a Producer at Blue Heat Games and as a Designer at Holistic Design, Inc., where they started their career in the industry as a tester and worked their way into design.
Andrew Harmon attended New Prospect High and obtained their High School Diploma in 1992. Andrew then pursued Culinary Arts at James Lorenzo Walker Culinary Arts school, where they received training in the field. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Product Owner from SCRUM Alliance, although specific details about its completion are not provided.

Payload Studios is a British independent games studio, founded by Russ Clarke and Vincent Scheurer, to develop our flagship game, the sandbox construction and combat game, TerraTech. Payload Studios also run the Tentacle Zone stand at games conventions across the UK. The stand offers indie developers an affordable way to show their games with full support from our friendly team and all artwork and equipment provided. The Tentacle Zone has also expanded to include cohabiting workspace in our studio, we currently share space with 4 other talented indie studios. We also host events for the London games community including our diversity focused Game On series. Payload Studios recently announced that Tencent, a leading internet and technology company, has invested a minority stake in Payload. This investment will support the growth of the team and development of future titles with Payload’s signature community-driven model. The studio is based in Farringdon, London.
