Ian Pain is a seasoned database administration professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple esteemed organizations. Currently serving as the Principal Database Administrator II at Payroc since December 2020, Ian has previously held significant positions such as Database Team Lead and SQL Server DBA at Mears Group PLC from December 2016 to December 2020, as well as SQL Technical Team Lead and Senior SQL Server DBA at Western Provident Association between December 2013 and December 2016. Additionally, Ian contributed as a Technical Consultant at Capita from October 2011 to December 2013. Educationally, Ian obtained a degree from the University of Plymouth between 1989 and 1992.
