Channabasava J is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and customer support across multiple sectors. Currently serving as AVP at Paytm since December 2022, Channabasava leads customer support operations for UPI, Wallet, Fastag, and Savings account products, managing over 200 in-house personnel and over 900 outsourced FTEs. Prior to Paytm, Channabasava held various leadership roles at OYO from May 2016 to December 2022, including Director of Products, where a Property Management System was developed, and Director of US Operations, focusing on technology initiatives that significantly improved customer experience metrics. Additional experience includes project management at Selco India, sports journalism at SportsKeeda.com, and roles in NGOs and engineering sales. Channabasava holds a PGP in Operations & Strategy from the Indian School of Business and a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
