Ram Chauhan

Ram Chauhan has a diverse work experience across multiple companies and roles. Ram started their career in 2005 as a Software Engineer at Ordyn Technologies Pvt Ltd. Ram then worked at Nokia as a Senior Engineer, SW, where they were involved in software development, design, and implementation. Ram also acted as a scrum master and led a 10-member scrum team. Ram later joined Samsung Electronics India Pvt Ltd as a Lead Engineer.

In 2012, Ram joined Nimbuzz as an Engineering Lead, where they were responsible for leading the Nimbuzz iPhone and Symbian team and handling the Nimbuzz client on the iPhone/MacOS and Symbian platforms. After that, they worked at SD2 Labs Pvt Ltd as the Head of Engineering, where they were involved in the development and delivery of a product that automatically discovers unseen photos from friends and family.

Ram's most recent experience is at Paytm, where they have held several roles. Ram started as a Senior Engineering Manager in 2016 and then became a General Manager Engineering in 2018. In this role, they scaled and architected Paytm app modules and delivery processes. Ram also built a central promotions module that catered to various use cases. Ram was then promoted to an Associate Vice President role and is currently serving as a Vice President, responsible for building and leading India's leading mobile payments and financial services app at Paytm.
