Raf Hens has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and positions. They most recently served as the VP Engineering at Apryse, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, Raf held roles at PDF Association, including Chairman of the Board from September 2022 and Board Member from June 2021. They also worked at iText Software, where they held positions such as CTO from November 2020 to April 2023, VP of Technology from July 2018 to November 2020, and Director-level roles in Product Management and Engineering. Before joining iText Software, Raf worked as a Researcher at Ghent University from August 2004 to September 2010.
Raf Hens obtained their MSc in Computer Science from Ghent University from 1999 to 2004. In 2015, they attended the Leadership Transition Programme at Vlerick Business School. In 2018, they also completed a program in Product Management at Vlerick Business School.
