Mr. Strauss is a Managing Director of Peak Rock. He helps lead all aspects of the investment process and also works closely with portfolio company executive teams to drive value creation initiatives. Mr. Strauss has led many of the firm’s investments in the Food and Beverage, Packaging, and Industrial sectors and serves on the Board of Directors of numerous portfolio companies. He has extensive experience helping family founded businesses and corporate carve outs grow revenue and expand margins through transformational facility expansions, revitalized commercial and product strategies and enhanced operational execution.
Mr. Strauss possesses over 20 years of private equity investing experience, having previously worked at Aurora Resurgence, Insight Equity and Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst. Mr. Strauss began his career working in the investment banking divisions of Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and Salomon Smith Barney.
Mr. Strauss received a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
