Russell Gillespie has extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, currently serving as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Peak Scientific Instruments Ltd since 2007, where leadership of a team supports New Product Introduction and assists production with building and testing issues. Previously, Russell held positions including Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Peak Scientific Instruments Ltd and Senior Production Engineer at Methode Electronics. Earlier career roles include Project Engineer at Rynex Engineering, specializing in material handling and robotic systems, and senior roles at Polaroid, which spanned from graduate engineer to senior manufacturing engineer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Hons) in Mechanical & Production Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, along with an apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering Technology and a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Mechanical & Production Engineering from Bell College of Technology.
