Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST)
Dylan Sondermann is a conservation professional with extensive experience in land and water conservation, currently serving as the Conservation Easement Manager at Peninsula Open Space Trust since November 2022. Previous roles include Paralegal at Tax Credit Connection Inc., and various positions at Mountain Area Land Trust, where Dylan advanced from Land Steward to Land and Water Conservation Director. Dylan's background includes volunteer work with Ya'axche Conservation Trust and research assistance at Colorado State University and Colorado College. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Conservation Leadership Through Learning from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from Colorado College.

Our Impact: Since our founding in 1977, POST has protected more than 79,000 acres of permanent open space, farms and parkland in San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties. These lands are now part of the National Park system, National Wildlife Refuge system, California State Parks, county and city parks, regional preserves and private farmland. POST takes a science-driven approach in our decisions about land acquisition and stewardship so that every property is appropriately cared for.
