James Kirby has a strong background in technology and IT management. James most recently worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Peninsula since 2017. Prior to that, they held the same role at Metroline Travel from 2013 to 2017, where they were responsible for IT strategy and managed a team of 35. James also served as the Head of IT Software Delivery at CityFleet in 2012. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Greenergy International from 2000 to 2012, including Head of Business Process and Head of Information Technology. James started their career as a Database Analyst/Programmer at University College London in 1997. Throughout their experience, James demonstrated leadership and expertise in managing IT teams and implementing database systems.
James Kirby is currently part way through earning a B.Sc. Hons Open Degree from The Open University. Prior to this, they attended Anglia Polytechnic University from 1996 to 1997, where they obtained a degree in Information Systems Design through the BTEC HND program. James also attended Anglia Polytechnic University from 1994 to 1996, where they earned a degree in Information Systems Design through the BTEC HNC program.
