Chris George

Chris George is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across prominent companies. At Nike, from July 2015 to February 2022, Chris served as VP & CFO of Geographies and Marketplace, overseeing the financial performance of Nike's business units, including Converse. Additional roles at Nike included VP and CFO positions for Asia Pacific & Latin America, Nike Direct North America, and Global Jordan Brand. Following Nike, Chris held the position of VP of Finance at Pinterest from February 2022 to October 2023, managing FP&A and Business Operations. Currently, Chris serves as an advisor and member of the Operator Collective at Penny Jar Capital. Past experience includes a senior leadership role at PayPal, where responsibilities encompassed P&L management for various financial products, as well as a significant role during eBay’s acquisition of PayPal. Chris holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and both a BS and MS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
