Matthew Cavanagh

Matthew Cavanagh currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at PensionBee, where responsibilities include overseeing legal matters for the regulated financial entity. Prior to this role, Matthew held various legal positions at Qatar Investment Authority, culminating in the role of Executive Legal Counsel and Director. Matthew is also a member of the Legal Advisory Council for the Institutional Limited Partners Association, a global body dedicated to advancing the interests of institutional limited partners. Matthew's extensive legal career includes partnership roles at King & Wood Mallesons and Christofferson Robb & Company, as well as experience as an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Academically, Matthew holds a Master of Laws and a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Queensland, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Languages.
