Lucie Z. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In their current role as the Head of Digital Unit at People in Need, they oversee digital strategies and initiatives. Prior to this, they served as the Digital Products & Innovation Lead and Advisor at Humansis, a web-based platform for organizations to reach beneficiaries. Lucie also worked as an IT Consultant in a freelance capacity. Lucie gained product management experience as a Product Manager at OAK'S LAB, where they were involved in the development of various projects. As a Co-Founder of Femvie, Lucie contributed to the creation of a holistic period-care brand. Lucie also served as a Product Manager at Flairoo, leading a team in the development of a talent management software product. Lucie's earlier experiences include a role as a Project Coordinator at Starbucks, where they managed multiple store development projects, and as a Consultant at Deloitte, working on a real estate market web application project. Lucie started their career as a Business Development Associate at iShopping Inc. and as an Intern at Founders Space, an incubator and accelerator for startups.
Lucie Z. began their education at Gymnazium Ricany in Ricany, Czech Republic, where they attended from 2003 to 2011. During this time, they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study.
In 2011, Lucie Z. enrolled at Whittier College and completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Business, with a focus on Chinese and Spanish. Lucie attended Whittier College until 2014.
In 2012, Lucie Z. participated in summer courses at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they studied International Business.
In 2013, Lucie Z. attended EADA Business School for MBA Summer Courses, focusing on Sustainability in International Business and International Finance.
Also in 2013, Lucie Z. spent a semester at Universidad ICESI in Colombia, studying International Business and Economy.
In terms of additional certifications, Lucie Z. obtained the following:
- PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner certification from PeopleCert in June 2014.
