Alexander Kozlov is a Senior Data Scientist at Pepperstone since May 2022, leading the development of a real-time financial news service for the mobile trading app. Prior to this role, Alexander worked as a Data Scientist at the Bureau of Meteorology, focusing on ensemble models for extreme weather forecasting and satellite image processing. At the University of Melbourne, Alexander held positions as a Lecturer and Research Scientist/Project Leader, specializing in predictive modeling and radiation damage simulations, and was a Visiting Research Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research. Alexander completed a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at UNSW, where also served as a Teaching Assistant and Laboratory Demonstrator. Alexander holds a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
