Ahmed Hassan is a seasoned data engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Perch Group since July 2021. Previously, Ahmed worked as a Business Intelligence Developer at Walker Fire (UK) Limited for a brief period in early 2021, focusing on the establishment of a new data warehouse for BI reporting. In a notable role as Enterprise Data Manager at EG Group from October 2017 to March 2021, Ahmed led a team responsible for the maintenance and development of data warehouses across the UK, Europe, and the USA, managing the complex integration of over 50,000 files daily from diverse sources. Prior experiences included positions as a BI Developer and DBA at Euro Garages Ltd, where similar data warehousing projects were undertaken, and as an Oracle Database Developer at DNA-Agile, enhancing the Aventa Application. Ahmed began the professional journey at elstat as a Business Application Developer and has held various roles in software development, starting with Netdec. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Physics from Suez Canal University, earned between 1997 and 2001.
