As the SaaS Product Marketing Manager at Percona, you will be the driving force behind the successful go-to-market strategy for our SaaS products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to craft compelling messaging, develop marketing collateral, and execute campaigns that position our solutions as industry leaders. What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new SaaS products, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
- Collaborate with product management to understand product features, benefits, and unique selling points.
- Craft compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences.
- Create differentiated value propositions and communicate the value of our products effectively.
- Lead the creation of marketing collateral, including product sheets, case studies, whitepapers, and other materials to support the sales process.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to generate awareness, drive demand, and acquire new customers.
- Leverage various channels such as social media, email marketing, and content marketing to reach target audiences.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Use market insights to refine marketing strategies and contribute to product roadmap decisions.
- Provide sales teams with the tools and resources they need to effectively communicate the value proposition and features of our SaaS products.
- Develop and deliver product training sessions for internal teams and external partners.
What You Have Done:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in product marketing in the software industry.
- Strong understanding of technology and the ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to self-organize, be consistent and disciplined, and make decisions within your area of responsibility independently.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Willing to travel occasionally on business throughout EMEA and the US.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Experience and familiarity with the observability, open source and/or the SaaS market spaces**.**
- Experience in taking a product from conceptualization through to launch in collaboration with other departments.
- Language skills: English fluently, additional languages appreciated.
- Experience working in a startup environment or similar.
- Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to build consensus among teams.
