Shannon Henderson, CHRP, currently serves as the Coordinator of People and Culture at Perimeter Institute, focusing on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (EDI). Responsibilities include providing administrative support to the EDI team, managing employee inquiries, and executing the Summer Student Program. Previous experience includes roles as Program & Partnership Coordinator at Spectrum Waterloo Region, where Shannon developed recruitment strategies and training programs, and Research Consultant for The Profitable Innovator, contributing to the creation of a directory for transgender-friendly services. Additional roles encompass grassroots growth leadership, office administration, and program direction. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Knowledge Integration from the University of Waterloo and a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Conestoga College.
