Augusto Carvalho

Augusto Carvalho is a petroleum engineer with extensive experience in the industry. Currently employed at Petrobras since August 2023, Augusto previously worked as a project engineer at SafeKick from July 2022 to August 2023. Prior roles include an internship at LASSOP - UFAL, where responsibilities included creating a reduced model of a horizontal two-phase separator and conducting simulations using computational fluid dynamics software. Additional internship experience was gained at the FAST lab of the Colorado School of Mines, assisting with laboratory tests on unconventional reservoirs and hydraulic fracturing. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidade Federal de Alagoas, complemented by participation in an exchange program at the Colorado School of Mines and ongoing studies in Data Science at Estácio.
