Kamal Bahrin Ahmad is a seasoned professional in the petroleum refining sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President at PETRONAS since April 2014, after holding previous roles as Vice President and Managing Director of the Malaysian Refining Company. Prior to this, Kamal worked as GM of Refinery at Engen from January 2011 to April 2014, and held several leadership positions at PETRONAS from January 2005 to December 2010, including Head of the Downstream Project Management Division and Head of the Development Division at PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd. Kamal holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin (1982-1986) and completed a program at Harvard Business School in 2017. Education also includes attendance at Sekolah Datuk Abdul Razak Seremban from 1977 to 1981.
