Tim Weghorst is an experienced engineer with a robust background in electronic design and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior PCB Design Engineer at PetSafe Brands since February 2017, Tim specializes in creating electronic schematics and PCB layouts while supporting talent development within the Engineering Team through coaching and mentoring. Previous roles include Marine Engineering Technician at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, where Tim maintained oceanographic instruments and assisted with autonomous underwater vehicle operations. Tim also held significant positions at Philips Medical Systems as a Project Development Program Manager overseeing medical device projects, and at Invivo Corporation as a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician managing MRI patient monitoring electronics. Tim's early career included roles at Walt Disney World and Halliburton, focusing on customer engagement and electronics troubleshooting, respectively. Tim obtained an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from CHI Institute-Philadelphia.
