Indra Mani Sharma is a Senior Scientist at Pfizer since March 2023, specializing in mRNA Vaccine Bioprocess Research and Development. Indra held the position of Postdoctoral Scientist at The Johns Hopkins University from December 2014 to November 2020, contributing to discoveries regarding initiation factor 3 in ribosome biogenesis and translation initiation, as well as critical folding steps in bacterial ribosomal RNA. Indra obtained a PhD in Biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science in September 2014, following a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Banaras Hindu University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University.
