Brooke Teal

Brooke Teal currently serves as SVP Global Compliance and General Counsel at Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd. since April 2024. Prior roles include Litigation Attorney at Lazega & Johanson, LLC, and Vice President of Legal and Compliance at EverChain®. With experience as Lead Attorney at LLOYD & MCDANIEL, PLLC, In-House Attorney at Jefferson Capital Systems, and Staff Counsel at Encore Capital Group, Brooke has a robust background in legal practice. Earlier in the career, roles included Criminal Defense Attorney and Law Clerk at O'Brien Hatfield, PA, along with various internships at the Federal Public Defender's Office and the US Attorney's Office. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Stetson University College of Law, an Executive Education program in Leadership in Corporate Counsel from Harvard Law School, and a Bachelor's Degree with a double major from Florida State University. Additionally, Brooke participated in a Summer Law Program at Nankai University in 2011.
