Alexandra Roy

Alexandra Roy is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Lead Architect at Philips since November 2020, following a role as Senior Systems Engineer / Architect at Veoneer from June 2019 to August 2020. Previously, Alexandra held positions including Lead Systems Engineer and Consultant Verification & Validation Coordinator for Airbus at ALTEN. Between June 2014 and February 2019, mechanical design expertise was applied at Whisper and F101 Hydrofoiling Sailing boats. Earlier experience includes roles at SAAB SEAEYE as Principal System Engineer and Systems Engineer, as well as positions at MSubs Ltd. Alexandra holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and has been recognized as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and as a European Engineer (Eur Ing.) by the European Federation of National Engineering Associations.
