Susan O'Donnell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Susan began their career as an Office Assistant/Receptionist at Berge Auto Group in 1997, where they worked until 2002. In 2003, they joined Phoenix Coyotes as a Community Relations Coordinator and held this position until 2007. Susan then transitioned to the non-profit sector and joined Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation in 2007. At the foundation, they served as the Children's Miracle Network Program Director and later became the Manager, Corporate Account Management. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Corporate Account Management at the foundation.

Susan O'Donnell completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies at Arizona State University West in 2003. Susan then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a specialization in Rhetoric & Advocacy from the same institution in 2006.
