Pia transcribes print communication into braille and alternative formats for people with visual impairment and into easy read for people with learning difficulties. We offer a fast, professional and cost-effective service to a huge range organisations throughout the UK. Our aim is to provide alternative formats that match the quality and presentation of the original document, whilst maintaining the corporate image of the commissioning authority. Pia works with extremely confidential material and has robust quality monitoring processes that ensure that all our high profile customers are very satisfied with our services. We can fulfil a range of requirements from the basic provision of ad hoc transcription of one-off documents through to high volume production and call off distribution. We are experienced data handlers and offer contract management services where distribution to regular end users or information centres is required. Our extremely low staff turnover means that our transcribers and producers are very adept at their work. Additionally, they are all very passionate about the quality of the transcription that we provide and are committed to ensuring that the user with visual impairment is provided with an accessible format of significant quality. Pia will not be beaten on customer service and can ensure that the commissioning of alternative formats is a smooth and manageable experience for the commissioning authority and the end user.
