Vishal joined Pidilite in July 1998 as a Management Trainee. He worked extensively with Fevicol Division for 15 years, handling various sales & marketing assignments starting as Area Sales Manager in Rajasthan. His last stint with Fevicol division was of Chief-Marketing. Vishal then moved to Consumer Products – MNT Division as Vice President – Sales & Marketing in 2013 which was followed by a one-year stint in Strategic Initiatives Group in 2015. He then took up the role of Senior Vice President with International Business Division in 2016 till 2021; where he was responsible for business development in SAARC & SEA region focussing on Bangladesh subsidiary, Sri Lanka subsidiary, Nepal & Myanmar markets amongst others. Today, Vishal heads the Emerging India Division, where he is responsible for driving business development across all Pidilite Consumer and Bazaar businesses in the Small Towns and Rural Markets. Vishal is a Commerce graduate from Sydenham College, Mumbai and completed his management course from IMI, New Delhi. His interests include travelling and he is a sports enthusiast.

The Consumer & Bazaar Products segment includes products, such as adhesives, sealants, art and craft material and others, construction and paint chemicals. These products are used by carpenters, painters, plumbers, mechanics, households, students and offices, among others. The Industrial Products segment covers products, such as industrial adhesives, synthetic resins, organic pigments, pigment preparations and surfactants, and caters to various industries, such as packaging, textiles, paints, printing inks, paper and leather.
