Leniel Garner is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in career coaching and education for military personnel and veterans. Currently serving as a Job Coach at Pikes Peak Workforce Center since September 2022, Leniel has previously facilitated workshops for separating service members and veterans at Serco, and worked as a Skills Development Instructor at Goodwill of Colorado. With a strong background in outreach and job search assistance for veterans, Leniel held the position of Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialist at the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, and acted as an Education Counselor at both Strategic Resources, Inc. and Armed Forces Services Corporation. Leniel's earlier roles include serving as an Admissions Advisor at Colorado Technical University and an Academic Instructor at the Defense Information School, along with significant service in the USAF. Leniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from the University of Maryland Global Campus and multiple associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force, encompassing various fields.

The Pikes Peak Workforce Center is an American Job Center serving El Paso and Teller counties that connects vital businesses with work-ready job seekers and employer-driven services. Last year, we served more than 39,000 clients including more than 10,000 veterans and over 1,000 young adults. We provide no-cost job seeker services from resume assistance, interview training, computer skills training and more. Clients range from entry-level to professional; include youth, adults, people returning to the workforce, underemployed and those with barriers to employment. Veterans always receive priority service. In support of regional employers, we host tailored, no-cost recruitment and hiring events including candidate sourcing, group and individual pre-employment assessments, provide a job database of searchable candidate profiles and more.
