Pedro Arellano has extensive experience in workforce development and security, currently serving as a Workforce Development Specialist at Pikes Peak Workforce Center since March 2021. The Pikes Peak Workforce Center is an American Job Center serving El Paso and Teller counties that connects vital businesses with work-ready job seekers and employer-driven services. Last year, we served more than 39,000 clients including more than 10,000 veterans and over 1,000 young adults. We provide no-cost job seeker services from resume assistance, interview training, computer skills training and more. Clients range from entry-level to professional; include youth, adults, people returning to the workforce, underemployed and those with barriers to employment. Veterans always receive priority service. In support of regional employers, we host tailored, no-cost recruitment and hiring events including candidate sourcing, group and individual pre-employment assessments, provide a job database of searchable candidate profiles and more.
