Tao Jin

Tao Jin possesses extensive experience in quantitative analysis and fixed income trading, currently serving as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Pine River Capital Management since August 2019, focusing on mortgage-backed securities and rates relative value trading strategy research. Prior roles include Senior Fixed Income Analyst and Finance Manager at U.S. Bank, where Tao managed a substantial investment portfolio and developed analytical tools for asset allocation and risk management. Earlier experience includes a Quantitative Risk Analyst position at Pine River, Financial Engineer role at Bank of America, and various internships, all of which contributed to a robust expertise in financial modeling, programming in Excel VBA and Python, and a deep understanding of mortgage trading strategies. Tao holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University and a Master of Science in Finance from The George Washington University.
