James Rider is an experienced professional with a strong background in the hospitality and entertainment industries. Currently serving as General Manager at Pinewood Studios since April 2018, James also holds the title of Commercial Director. Prior to this role, James was Operations Director at Premier Inn from May 2016 to April 2018, and James previously worked at Whitbread as Head of Strategy & Revenue Development and Head of Revenue Development for Premier Inn from November 2013 to May 2016. James began a successful career at Oliver Wyman, where multiple titles were held, including Associate Partner, from September 2001 to October 2013. James holds a Master of Engineering degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge, completed between 1997 and 2001.
