Group Design Manager, UX & Design Systems

We’re looking for a Group Design Manager in our Tallinn office. In this role, as the Group Design Manager, UX & Design Systems, you will play a pivotal role in driving design strategy, expanding our design system, fostering innovation, and managing a lean team of three super talented designers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our design efforts align with business objectives and deliver exceptional user experiences. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on design expertise, and leadership capabilities to inspire and guide the team towards achieving our design goals. Your new adventure:

• Develop and execute design strategies aligned with Product objectives and user needs
• Lead the exploration of new design initiatives to make significant improvements in usability and desirability
• Continuously evolve and expand our design system across web and mobile to support product scalability, consistency, and efficiency
• Collaborate with broader Product and Engineering Teams to identify and implement new components, patterns, and guidelines that enhance the usability and visual appeal of our products
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to the team of designers, fostering their professional growth and development
• Lead by example, promoting a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages experimentation and continuous learning
• Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize design initiatives and allocate resources effectively
• Foster strong collaboration between design, product, engineering, and marketing teams to drive alignment and achieve shared objectives
• Communicate design concepts, strategies, and rationale effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Does this sound like you?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design across web and mobile, with a focus on design strategy, design systems, and innovation.
• Proven track record of successfully leading design initiatives and managing small design teams.
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Figma and other design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development processes.
• Fluency in english
