Agniswar Das has a strong background in public health and development, with a focus on HIV/AIDS. Agniswar recently joined Piramal Swasthya as the Zonal Head-Health and Nutrition. Before that, they worked as the State Transformation Manager at NITI Aayog. Prior to their role at NITI Aayog, Agniswar held various positions at PLAN INTERNATIONAL INDIA, including State Project Manager and Program Manager. Agniswar also worked as a State Project Manager-North East States at Plan International, where they provided technical assistance for HIV/AIDS programs. Agniswar started their career at Care India as a Program Officer, where they were responsible for coordinating capacity-building initiatives. Agniswar also worked as a Consultant Project Officer for HIV/AIDS programs at UNFPA, and as a Program Officer at Avert Society, supported by USAID. Agniswar brings a wealth of experience and expertise in program management and HIV/AIDS interventions to their current role.

Agniswar Das has a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, which they earned from 1990 to 2006. Agniswar then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Entrepreneurship from SIES College in Mumbai from 2006 to 2007. Afterward, from 2006 to 2010, Agniswar attended Visva Bharati University once again and obtained a BSW (Bachelor in Social Work) and an MSW (Master in Social Work). During this time, they also completed a PG Diploma in Social Enterprise Management and a Diploma in HR Management. Agniswar went on to study at Wellingkar Institute of Management Studies from 2009 to 2010, where they earned a Diploma in Human Resource Management. Most recently, from 2016 to 2017, they attended the Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health and Hospital Management, specializing in Public Health.
