Andrew Akers

Andrew Akers, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in quantitative research and portfolio management. Currently serving as Lead Quantitative Research Analyst at PitchBook since May 2020, Andrew has contributed to private equity initiatives through a focus on quantitative analysis. Prior to this role, Andrew was a Portfolio Manager at Verus, overseeing over $3 billion in discretionary OCIO assets and conducting thorough investment analysis to inform portfolio allocation. Previous positions include various analytical roles at Vanguard and an internship at Safeco Insurance. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Washington State University.
