Amanda Barry

Amanda Barry currently serves as the Associate General Counsel and Head of Intellectual Property at Pivot Bio since August 2023, and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law since July 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President and Head of Intellectual Property Legal at Bolt Threads from November 2021 to April 2023, and a lengthy tenure at Procter & Gamble from May 2006 to November 2021, where roles included Associate General Counsel and Senior Director. Earlier in the career, Amanda worked at Mayer Brown and Leydig, Voit & Mayer, Ltd. Amanda holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, a Master of Science in Molecular Genetics from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan.
