Daniel McCoy

Daniel McCoy is an accomplished technical director at Pixar Animation Studios since March 1989, with a diverse portfolio that includes roles such as supervising technical director for "La Luna," shading supervisor for "Ratatouille," and illumination engineer for "The Incredibles." McCoy's extensive experience in shading and 3D graphics spans various iconic films, including "Monsters Inc," "Finding Nemo," and the "Toy Story" series. Prior to Pixar, McCoy held positions at Sunday Assembly as founder of Sunday Assembly East Bay, Sun Microsystems as a software engineer focused on 3D graphics acceleration, and Ramtek Corporation as a software engineer working on computer graphics and systems. McCoy also contributed to NASA Ames Research Center as a contractor specializing in 3D graphics programming for aeronautics applications.
