Nuno Goncalves

Nuno Goncalves is a seasoned Continuous Improvement Engineer at Prothya Biosolutions, responsible for producing life-saving medicines derived from Human Plasma since February 2025. Previously, Nuno served as Inspection Team Leader and Chemical Production Technologist at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) from January 2022 to January 2025 and held the same title at OPCW from January 2010 to January 2017, focusing on verification inspections and chemical weapons destruction supervision. Nuno's early career includes roles as a Process Engineer at Aker Solutions, a Process Control Engineer at Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company, and a Field Engineer at DPM. Educationally, Nuno holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra.
