Grant Carter has extensive experience in the insurance industry, specifically in developer surety. Grant began their career at Northbridge Insurance in 2011, where they worked as a Senior Technical Assistant in Specialty Risk. In 2013, they were promoted to Associate Underwriter in Construction & Contracting, and in 2014, they became an Underwriter in the same department. In 2016, Grant joined Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company as an Underwriter in Developer Surety until 2018 when they moved to PLATFORM Insurance Management Inc. Grant initially joined PLATFORM as an Account Executive in Developer Surety and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming the Director of Developer Surety in 2018. In 2021, they were promoted again to Vice President of National Developer Surety. Currently, Grant holds the position of Senior Vice President of National Developer Surety at PLATFORM Insurance Management Inc.
Grant Carter obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Real Estate from the University of Guelph, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they have a certification in Chartered Insurance Professional from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
