Michael Walsh

Michael Walsh is an accomplished project director currently leading the development of the Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre at Plenary Group. With extensive experience in management roles, Walsh served as General Manager at both The Bowen Group and Peter Bowen Homes from May 2018 to October 2023. Prior to that, Walsh held various key positions at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 2006 to March 2018, including Director of Strategy and Innovation and Director of Technology Operations. Earlier career roles at Telstra Innovation Centre included Technology & Operations Manager, Test Environment Manager, and Technology Specialist. Walsh holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from Charles Sturt University, an MBA in Strategy from La Trobe University, and completed an Executive Leadership Program at Melbourne Business School.
