Daryl Lim is the Co Founder at PlenOptika, where Daryl leads the development of a portable, low-cost device for automated diagnosis of refractive errors. Prior to this, Daryl was a Junior Associate at McKinsey & Company and an M+Vision Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT, where Daryl investigated novel illumination techniques and computer vision for improving lesion detection in colonoscopy. Daryl also worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at Boston University, refining a high-resolution endoscope and designing a LED illumination system for HiLo technology. Daryl holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Leipzig.
