Javier Pajares Ortega

Javier Pajares Ortega is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and technology management. As the Director of Engineering at Plytix PIM since January 2022, Javier oversees engineering operations. Previously, as CTO and Director of Software Development at QDQ Media from October 2013 to June 2021, Javier managed multiple teams and was responsible for significant advancements in software development. Javier co-founded Proneotec Solutions Engineers S.L., serving as CTO, where full-stack technology strategies were implemented across various projects. Earlier roles included freelance software development and positions at OpenBet Ltd. and Tedial, contributing to projects for major international clients. Javier holds a Master’s in Software Engineering from Universidad de Málaga, a Business Administration qualification from EOI Business School, and an Executive MBA from ESIC Business & Marketing School. Proficient in Python, Django, and several JavaScript frameworks, Javier demonstrates a robust background in software engineering and team leadership.
