Michael Leighton

Michael Leighton currently serves as Director of Industrial Design & CMFG at Polaris Inc., a position held since December 2022. Previously, Michael was VP of Product Design & Development at Duke Cannon Supply Co. from September 2021 to December 2022, and held various roles at Polaris Industries, including Director of Product Design and Development PG&A from April 2019 to September 2021. Michael's career includes significant experience at 3M, serving as Design Officer and in other design management capacities from November 2012 to April 2019, along with a tenure at Trek Bicycle as Global Senior Product Manager/Strategist and Senior Industrial Designer. Michael's design foundation was built at Numark Industries and Leisure Product Solutions, as well as various internships early in the career. Michael holds a BFA in Industrial Design and Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, completed in 2002.
